FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of heating liquid heat carrier involves supplying liquid heat carrier to a heating zone in the housing of a heating installation from a heat source, heating the heat carrier and taking the heat carrier from the heating zone. The liquid heat carrier is supplied to the heating zone by circulating it around the cylindrical surface of the heater with formation of an axially symmetrical swirling flow. The trajectory of each particle of the heat carrier is at a tangent to the surface of the heater. The heater is at temperature above the critical temperature of the heat carrier. To implement the proposed method, the heating installation comprises a heater with a heat source, and a heat exchange device with connecting pipes. The heater with a cylindrical surface is fitted coaxially in the heat exchange device, which has a cylindrical housing. To supply the heat carrier from under the housing, there are two connecting pipes at a tangent, creating an axially symmetrical swirling flow. There is an outlet of hot heat carrier at the top of the cylindrical housing.
EFFECT: more efficient heat transfer, increased reliability of the device and simplification of its design.
