SUBSTANCE: proposal is given of a gas liquefaction unit, containing a heat exchanger for pre-cooling the injected gas through indirect heat exchange with the first coolant, a first refrigeration compressor, compressing the first coolant, used for cooling the injected gas in the pre-cooling heat exchanger, a cryogenic heat exchanger, for cooling and liquefying the injected gas, pre-cooled by the heat exchanger through indirect heat exchange with the second coolant, a second refrigeration compressor, which cools the second coolant, used for cooling and liquefying the injected gas in the cryogenic heat exchanger, and a piping system, comprising a pipe used in the gas liquefying unit. The pre-cooling heat exchanger, the first refrigeration compressor, cryogenic heat exchanger and the second refrigeration compressor are fitted on the same side of the piping system.
EFFECT: improved operational characteristics of the device.
