FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: for automated control and diagnostics of secondary power supply source groups in different systems of automatic control, monitoring and regulation, there are voltage splitters, voltage limiters and noise suppression filters introduced into ranging unit of electronic block. Electronic block also comprises microcontroller, eight-channel analog-digital transducer of which transforms voltage levels into ten-digit digital codes. Microprocessor calculates codes of averaged and limit levels of measured voltage and compares them to codes of threshold values. As a result, when weight of averaged level code and code of limit levels difference is more (less) than weight of one of threshold values code, controller actuates, and failure signal is generated into external device. Number of faulty secondary power supply source is displayed on digital indicator, one of unit indicators of failure criterion lights up "V", "N", "P", and sound alarm is switched on.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement and monitoring of output voltages parameters in secondary power supply sources, increased validity of faulty secondary power supply source detection, reduced time required to confine faulty secondary power supply source, expansion of functional resources.
