CHANNEL STRUCTURES FOR MULTIPLE ACCESS COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM WITH QUASIORTHOGONAL CHANNEL SEPARATION Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC H04J11/00

Abstract RU 2354056 C1

FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: channel structure contains at least two channel sets. Each channel set contains multiple channels and is associatively connected with separate channel mapping into system resources available for data transmission. Each channel set may be determined on the basis of channel tree with hierarchical structure. To achieve separation of intracell noise, channel mapping into resources for each channel set is pseudorandom relative to mapping of remaining channel set. In each planning interval terminals are planned for transmission over direct and/or reverse communications line. Planned terminals are assigned channels from channel set. Multiple channels can use the same system resources, and their overlapping transmissions may be separated in space domain.

EFFECT: support of simultaneous transmissions for multiple communications terminals.
