FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to arithmology, cardiology and cardiosurgery and is intended for invasive treatment of WPW syndrome connected with functioning of additional conducting tracts. Electrode is brought to heart by means of through-vein or thoracotomic access, after which mapping of fibrous atrioventricular rings is performed during atrial, ventricular electrostimulation and during orthodromic tachycardia, intervals St-V, St-A, V-A being measured. Having detected merging of atrial and ventricular potentials, further registration of said intervals is carried out not to the beginning but to the peak or ending of second potential of interval and detecting point with minimal value of intervals, it is considered zone where additional conducting tract is located.
EFFECT: method allows to increase accuracy of additional conducting ways mapping, reduce duration of both mapping stage and radio-frequency ablation stage.
