The aspirating channel of grain separating chaff from grain by means of a current of air appeared with the help of front, back and side walls, contains a grid inclined from the front wall to back wall, loading window placed in the front wall and unloading window placed at the lower edge of the grid, at least one partition fixed between front and back walls with a clearance above the grid and air current outlet in the upper part of the channel. The length and width of the channel connected with the ratio , where d - channel length, m; S - width, m, 0.15 and 0.5 - constants, m. The distance from the front wall to the partition and between the neighbouring partitions is determined by the ratio q<t<0.4d, where t - distance from the front wall to the partition and between neighbouring partitions; q - clearance between the partition and grid, m. The air current outlet is directed behind the back wall of the channel, and channel sections formed by the partitions and its walls are tapered upward at 15…40%.
