FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry production. The method provides for ceramics impregnation with hardening solution, drying and tempering. Impregnation is performed with hardening solution consisting of ingredients at the following ratio, wt %: 15-25 silicon varnish and 75 - 85 ethyl alcohol. Ceramics is tempered during no less than 1 hour at 180-250°C.
EFFECT: improved strength of ceramics and quality of castings.
