FIELD: jewellery.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for manufacture of jewellery - chains made of gold alloys of 14-carat and 18-carat gold. Flux comprises components in the following ratio, wt %: pine rosin 10-20; salve base 2.5-25; anhydrous lanolin 5-12.5; ethyl alcohol - the rest.
EFFECT: satisfactory wettability of soldered chain links with flux, its proper fluxing properties, and also reduced boundary friction between neighbouring links of chain in process of its machining due to flux lubricating properties.
