SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of biotechnology and can be used to study processes of biopathogen distribution in environment, to investigate ability of substances of protein nature to penetrate into units of water-purifying installations and to predict stability of protein contaminations in water medium and on environment object surfaces. Method of controlling distribution and stability of biological admixtures of protein nature in environment includes application of biotracer with ice-forming activity onto investigated object and registration of said activity in samples collected in various space-time points. As biotracer material purified protein substance with ice-forming activity obtained from cells of bacteria Erwinia herbicola, Pseudomonas syringae, Pseudomonas fluorescens is used.

EFFECT: application of invention allows to characterise distribution and stability in environment of substances similar to protein toxins and differing in molecular weight and stability to action of inactivating factors of environment.
