FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely, to medicinal products for combating infections caused by gram-negative bacteria. Bactericidal pharmaceutical composition for topical application in the form of a gel has the following composition, % wt.: recombinant modified endolysin LysECD7-SMAP 0.2 to 1 %, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose 1 %, Polyethylene Glycol 1500 (PEG 1500) 1.5 %, phosphate buffer solution with a pH=7.5 96,5 to 97,3 %. Above composition is applied as an antimicrobial agent against sensitive bacterial species Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumannii, Escherichia coli, Achromobacter spp, Burkholderia cepacia complex, Enterobacter spp, Staphylococcus aureus, and Listeria monocytogenes.
EFFECT: bactericidal composition has a pronounced specific pharmacological (antibacterial) activity against gram-negative bacteria on topical application, including bacteria with multiple drug resistance, and is capable of cleaning a wound due to the outflow of the purulent contents.
