FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: sheet is received from austenitic steel, containing, wt %: 0.35 ≤ C ≤ 1.05, 16 ≤ Mn ≤ 24, iron and unavoidable admixtures from smelting - the rest, it is subject to cold rolling, and then recrystallisation annealing in furnace, having an atmosphere, which recovers iron and oxidise manganese, with annealing parametres are chosen so that sheet is coated from both sides by sublayer to the point of amorphous oxide (Fe, Mn)O and external layer of crystalline manganese oxide MnO, with total thickness of these two layers is equal or more than 0.5 micron. Sheet is implemented of steel, additionally containing, wt %: Si ≤ 3.0, Al ≤ 0.050, S ≤ 0.030, P ≤ 0.080, N ≤ 0.1, and, not necessarily, one or more such elements from the group: Cr ≤ 1.0, Mo ≤ 0.40, Ni ≤ 1.0, Cu ≤ 5.0, Ti ≤ 0.50, Nb ≤ 0.50, V ≤ 0.50.

EFFECT: high corrosion resistance, favourable combination of strength and elongation.
