FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of machine building and can be used in manufacturing inserts of journal nearing. Method of manufacturing inserts of journal bearing with anti-friction fluoroplastic layer includes preliminary bend of insert work piece and final bend on mandel. Final bend of preliminarily bent work piece is carried out using steel balls installed in elastic separator, steel balls being embedded into metal base of work piece. In manufacturing insert with external fluoroplastic layer, insert work piece during preliminary bend is obtained with radius less than set insert radius. Obtaining of insert with set radius is ensured during final bend of work pieces by increasing radius of insert work piece obtained during preliminary bend. In manufacturing insert with internal fluoroplastic layer insert work piece during preliminary bend is obtained with radius greater than set insert radius. Obtaining of insert with set radius is ensured during final bend by reduction of radius of insert work piece obtained during preliminary bend.
EFFECT: extending technological possibilities of method of manufacturing journal bearing insert.
