FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method includes process of continuous application of antifriction alloy on steel band, cutting of obtained bimetallic strip into flat blanks "cards", stamping of insert blanks from them, and further mechanical finishing. Cut flat bimetallic blanks are applied by explosion welding on steel plate which thickness allows manufacture of thicker inserts together with initial bimetallic strip. Them stamping and mechanical finishing of inserts are performed. Method includes saving of nonferrous and ferrous metals during manufacture of inserts. EFFECT: reduced labor intensity. 3 dwg
