FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to industrial pipeline fittings and is designed for preventing reverse flow of medium and damping hydraulic shock at transporting liquid and gaseous mediums via pipelines with long passes. The back valve consists of the swing gate and the paddle damper. The swing gate of the damper is rigidly connected to the gate by means of a shaft and is designed to simultaneously turn with it; the swing gate is assembled in a hollow cylinder case of the damper. This case is pressure tight closed from ends with covers and is equipped with a stationary radial partition. The latter contacts along its perimeter with the covers, with the case and movable journal of the paddle and also with an angular groove made in the paddle and with liquid medium. The damper is equipped with a ring or with a circular collar. The circular collar is made on the end of the cover turned into internal cavity of the damper as a whole with a cover. An angle is created between the internal surfaces of the damper case and cover; the ring or the circular collar is arranged in this angle. On a free end of the paddle contacting the ring a curvilinear circular groove is made along the whole length of the paddle. The internal cylinder surface of the ring or circular collar is made profiled. The sector of the profile of this surface corresponds to the angle of swing of the gate of the back valve.

EFFECT: simplification of design of paddle damper and increase efficiency of its fabrication.
