SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to optoelectronics and can be used in a device for optical recording and displaying information. The radiation intensity regulator comprises two total reflecting prisms with an adjustable clearance between them. On the surface of the prism, a film coating is deposited, with refraction index greater than the refraction index of the material of the prism. The product of the thickness of the film coating and its refraction index lies between 0.2 and 0.4 mcm for the visible spectrum.
EFFECT: reduced spectral ripple of transmission and reflection coefficients.
