FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dosage of mercury for luminescence lamps. Composition for the dosage of mercury in lamps is invented, comprising the first component, containing mercury, and, at least, one metal, chosen from the group, containing titanium, zirconium, and the second component, consisting of aluminium either in a compound of an alloy, containing at least 40% of the mass, aluminium, in which the mass relation of the first and the second components are less or equal to 9:1; in the selection of the mentioned compositions one can also add a third component, chosen from the group of metals or oxides, which are capable of entering an exothermic reaction with aluminium.
EFFECT: increase in the output of the production line for the production of lamps and reduced quantity of mercury used.
