FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method of extracting mercury in fluorescent lamps, based on using manganese-mercury compositions, as well as the composition it self and versions of making batchers from said composition in form of tablets, spheres, pieces from a metal strip, in form of an open container with manganese-mercury powder of mercury from a manganese-mercury composition or in form of a solid body made from extrusion of a powder mixture.
EFFECT: improved mercury output characteristic.
