SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to the field of electric engineering and can be used in fluorescent lamps where several milligrams of mercury vapor are required. Chemical compositions are described which contain mercury, titan, copper and one or more chemical elements from the group including stannum, chrome and silicium suitable for extraction mercury from them. Also the method for preparation of these compositions is dislosed.

EFFECT: providing accurate and repeatable dosing into lamps small quantity of mercury up to approximately one milligram.
