FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: while forming biometrical template, check points are additionally used that cannot be found in all samples of fingerprint pattern. After designation of all check points and statistical features of an image, additional check points on surrounding areas are designated where image features are lacked. After detecting statistical parameters of surrounding areas, situation and parameters of all check points on expanded biometrical template obtained are stored. While performing authentication, lack of check points on fingerprint image under test is controlled in additional check points sites. From outside, or from internal randomiser, user personal code is generated, artificial neuron net associations are set, and neuron net is trained to transform the image parametres into the user personal code. After training, user personal code information and part of data in expanded biometrical template entry are erased. Device for implementation of the method consists of casing that contains: fingerprint image reader; processor unit; external communication port; first memory space and second memory space, inaccessible for external devices, where all the data stored, involved in image recognition by neuron net.
EFFECT: method and device increase reliability of biometrical personality authentication.
