FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing shell-type structures from composite materials and can be used in aircraft engineering, chemical machinery production and other fields of machine building. The proposed method of producing aforesaid structures with metal frames incorporated herewith comprises winding the bands impregnated with binder onto mandrel and mounting the frames to produce the frame seat diametres. Then the frames are cut, their ends are expanded and the cut frames are pulled onto non-polymerised shell up to their seats. The frames are fastened on to the shell by screws or expansion bolts. The frames are wound up further on until reaching required diametre. The binder polymerised, frame ends of frames are jointed together by strips.

EFFECT: simpler process, higher reliability of shell-type structures.
