FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle suspension system. Axles are fixed to the front and rear parts of the vehicle frame. The front sub-frame with front wheels are installed on the front axle, while the rear sub-frames with rear wheels are installed on the rear axle. The sub-frames are installed so that they can swing within the plane crossing longitudinal axis of symmetry perpendicularly to horizontal plane of vehicle frame. In addition the front sub-frame is linked to the frame by ropes, the rear sub-frames are linked by means of other ropes accordingly. Each rope is provided with tensioning devices. The front wheels are installed with the help of lever system and springing elements. The rear wheels are installed on the related sub-frame. Each rope is also provided with supporting device. The traveling comfort on even road is mainly ensured by lever system interacting with springing elements of the front wheels. Near rear wheels the same vibration is silenced by the rare sub-frames. The reactive force arising from head-on crash will lift the front wheel up, turn lever system and compress springing element. After that the force is transmitted to the front sub-frame, which aims at turning around axis. The effort is felt by corresponding ropes.
EFFECT: reduced metal consumption for vehicle body ensuring sufficient mechanical strength.
