FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy field, particularly it relates to steels content which can be used for manufacturing of machinery and equipment for punching and plastic casting. Tool steel contains carbon, silicon, manganese, chrome, titanium, boron, aluminium, copper, germanium, tantalum, silver and iron, with following components ratio, wt %: carbon 0.04 - 0.06, silicon 0.04 - 0.06, manganese 8.0 - 12.0 chrome 4.0 - 5.0, titanium 0.1 - 0.14, boron 0.01 - 0.02, aluminium 0.7 - 0.9, copper 0.5 - 1.0, germanium 0.0001 - 0.0002, tantalum 0.4 - 0.6, silver 0.05 - 0.1, iron is the rest.
EFFECT: impact elasticity increasing of steel.
