FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy particularly dealing with composition of steels used in machine-building and instrumentation industry. The steel contains carbon, silica, manganese, chrome, titanium, aluminium, nitrogen, boron, phosphorus, sulphur, tantalum, vanadium, selenium, tellurium, tungsten, stannum and iron, the components ratio (wt %) being as follows: carbon - 0.12 - 0.17%, silica - 0.05 - 0.1%, manganese - 0.4 -0.6%, chrome - 0.5 - 0.8%, titanium - 0.1 - 0.14%, aluminium - 0.12 - 0.16%, nitrogen - 0.006-0.008%, boron - 0.08-0.12%, phosphorus - 0.02 - 0.04%, sulphur - 0.03 - 0.05%, tantalum - 0.12 - 0.16%, vanadium - 0.6 - 0.8%, selenium - 0.03 - 0.05%, tellurium - 0.003 - 0.005%, tungsten - 0.12 - 0.16%, stannum - 0.003 - 0.005%, iron - balance.
EFFECT: enhanced strength of steel.
