FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrolytic cell for receiving of aluminium by electrolysis of cryolite-aluminous melt. Electrolytic cell contains body, including bath, outfitted by butt and baked in the hearth carbonaceous boxes, anodes, connected with anodic wire and located in top part of bath in the layer of molten electrolyte, layer of molten aluminium, operating as cathode and connected to cathodic wire, inside the bath perpendicularly to its longitudinal axis are located one or several vertical partition, implemented of refractory electric insulating material, fixed in bottom of bath with division of bottom carbonaceous boxes, with tops of partitions are located lower the top level of electrolyte and lower or higher the top level of layer of molten aluminium, and in the bottom part of each partition it is one or more holes, connecting two bathes, divided by partitions, and each part of bath, divided by partitions, is outfitted by separated anodic and cathodic wires, with cathodic wire of previous part of bath is connected with anodic wire of the following bath. It is provided reduction of electricity specific consumption with receiving of aluminium and metal consumption for jumper of electrolyser ensured by reduction of hydrodynamic influence upon electromagnetic force to the bath of molten aluminium, reduction of vibrational amplitude of molten aluminium surface, reduction of anode-to-cathode distance on electrolysers of increased unit capacity.
EFFECT: decreasing of electricity specific consumption.
