FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the means of protecting equipment against high temperatures and open flame and can be used in chemical, nuclear and other fields of science and technology. The system comprises interconnected frame, strengthened, heat insulating and additionally composite layers. The strengthened layers are made from ceramic material based on carbides mainly boron or titanium or silicon or their borides or aluminium oxide or their mixtures. The frame layers are made from metals or alloys based on titanium, aluminium, iron. The heat insulating layer is made from inorganic compounds from the group of silicides or silicates, composite or fibrous or woven fabric. The composite layers are made on the basis of the woven carbon or silicon-containing fibres. The system is limited by a metal casing along the total outer surface. All the system layers are interconnected by a high-temperature adhesive. The facility being protected is facing the heat insulating layer first, then the frame metal and strengthened ceramic ones tightened by composite layers on both sides.
EFFECT: ensuring simultaneous protection of a facility against both a heat flow and a destructive force due to increasing the mechanical strength of the system and heat protection parametres along with simultaneous upkeeping the weight of the ready product.
