SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hollow charge grenades. The charge comprises the casing, compound charge of explosive (E), shaping facing and fuse, the charge outer part is made from high blasting power explosive that features an average detonation rate, while the inner, tapered part, adjoining the shaping facing accommodates lower detonation rate explosive that features higher specific energy release. The charge initiated, the Mach detonation wave originates inside the shaped part. Note that, behind the said wave front, a directed flow of high-power detonation products is formed to affect the shaped facing, which takes shaped facing power from the charge.
EFFECT: higher grenade throwing speed.
