FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to ammunition, namely to the warhead of a large-caliber assault rocket grenade and to the warhead of a small-caliber assault rocket grenade. Warhead of a large-caliber assault rocket grenade comprises a body with a caliber front cover, an explosive charge located inside the body, bottom fuse with a transition cartridge and an external fragmentation unit formed by adjacent to each other rings of semi-finished striking elements alternating in opposite directions, having front, back and flat side surfaces. Gaps between unidirectional striking elements correspond to striking elements of opposite direction. Adjacent oppositely directed elements are connected to each other along their adjacent flat side surfaces. Front and rear surfaces of the striking elements form the front and rear surfaces of the external fragmentation unit, respectively. In the rings, the striking elements are located so that any normal to the rear surface of each striking element, crossing the line of intersection of any of its side surfaces with said rear surface belongs to said any flat side surface. Front cover is made flat and a deformable hollow tip is installed in its center.
EFFECT: providing effective penetration of obstacles and destruction of various targets.
