SUBSTANCE: high-explosive ammunition comprises a body, a detonating fuse, the main charge of high-energy explosive with lower detonation speed and an additional charge of powerful explosive with high speed of detonation. The additional charge is made in the form of extended cord charges, evenly arranged on the inner surface of the ammunition body along its axis. On the inner surface of the body there are helical slots. Extended cord charges are placed in these slots.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of ammunition high-explosive action.
