FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vacuum-tube microwave devices with transversely-extended interaction and can also be used in radar engineering and communication equipment. Low-noise multipole microwave amplifier comprises antimagnetic electron gun, buncher resonator connected with dead load, pumping resonator connected with pumping source, boost resonator connected with signal source and load via circulator, and collector. According to suggested invention each of resonators represents microwave multipole lens with at least four electrodes, each one of which is made in the form of resonant sections of delay-line structures. In this device pumping resonator contains more electrodes than boost resonator and comprises additional dipole section with electrodes connected with dead load. Additionally resonator system electrodes may be performed as resonance sections of round metal rods with at least six symmetrical longitudinal grooves the width of which is equal to their depth and constitutes one quarter of delayed wave-length.
EFFECT: providing prolonged interaction of charged particles wide beam with transversely-extended electromagnetic field and continuous extraction of energy, allows to create low-noise multipole microwave amplifier.
