FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: there is disclosed method of acid demineralisation of bone graft tissue, including its preparation, mechanical treatment and demineralisation preceded with keeping the bone tissue during 24 hours at +5°…+7°C in 1% sodium chloride solution. Then it is removed from solution, frozen and like this placed in dissolved hydrochloric or hydrobromic acid of specified concentration ensuring partial or complete demineralisation of bone grafts. Invention allows for considerable (2.5 to 1.2 Mrad) reduction of radiation dose on bone tissue, providing reliable sterilising effect and keeping its high grafting properties.
EFFECT: two-staged combined sterilisation allows accumulating plastic material after the first stage and to sterilise it with gamma-rays as required, routinely thereby reducing number of visits to the institutions having radionuclide installations with gamma radiation source Co60.
