FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: for bone implant sterilisation, initial processing of samples with an ozone-air mixture and repeated similar treatment with an ozone-air mixture prior to samples storage are carried out. Processing of samples and their packaging is carried out by an ozone-air mixture with ozone concentration of 6-8 mg/l and duration of 10-20 min followed by final irradiation with a fast electron beam with an absorbed dose of 11-15 kGy of hermetically sealed samples.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides effective sterilisation of bone implants and hermetic packaging for their storage, while significantly reducing the level of radioactive irradiation of grafts, which results in morphological and bioplastic safety of sterilized objects and preservation of sample osteoinductive properties, due to combined use of radiation exposure and ozone-air mixture.
