FIELD: tobacco products.
SUBSTANCE: method involves extracting raspberry jelly with liquid carbon dioxide and separating a respective miscella, mixing up the tobacco material with a liquid carbon dioxide, extracting and shredding the material by relieving periodically the pressure in the extraction mixture below the pressure of carbon dioxide moist steam at extraction temperature. Then the miscella and meal are separated. The meal is suspended in an aqueous solution of an edible acid. An edible polyatomic alcohol is introduced into the suspension. The suspension is formed, dried to a residual humidity of 13-15%, cut and treated with the miscellas mixture by raising simultaneously the pressure. The pressure is relieved to atmospheric one by freezing simultaneously the soaked carbon dioxide and the latter is sublimed to obtain a target product in the residue.
EFFECT: improvement of reconstituted tobacco organoleptical properties, decrease of technological process duration.
