FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to orthopaedics and traumatology, and can be used in inspection endoprosthesis replacements of combined bone defect of twice upsizing acetabulum. Superior wall of acetabulum is reinforced with Muller's ring. Then 1/2-1/3 volume of superior acetabulum is filled with inert cement to form therein a hemispherical concave bed of diametre exceeding that of installed acetabular component by 4-5 mm. Installation of acetabular component is combined with filling medial part and remained superior acetabulum with bone cement.
EFFECT: method allows optimising endoprosthesis replacements technique, accelerating operative intervention, reducing negative effect of bone cement and postoperative rehabilitation of the patients to rehabilitation terms of standard total hip replacement.
