FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the technology of making porous polymer microfilter membranes and can be used in filtering, analysis and purification of different media in microbiology, pharmaceutical, biochemical, food, fuel and other industries. The membrane-forming element is polystyrene, dissolved in dibutyl phthalate in ratio of 1:3. An amount of 2 wt % dihydro quertecin is added to the obtained solution, after which tetrahydrofuran is added in ratio of 1:5. The membrane is obtained at 40°C. Dihydro quertecin molecules are removed from the water-insoluble polymer membrane through thorough washing of the latter in an 8:3 water-alcohol solution. Drying is done until complete evaporation of tetrahydrofuran.
EFFECT: invention allows for making a uniform porous polymer membrane with given pore geometry.
