FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to techniques of producing selectively permeable filtration membranes based on cellulose acetates. Such membranes can be used for separation and concentration from multi-component liquid mixtures of separate substances with wide range of molecular weight (MM = 0.1-103 kDa) via baromembrane methods (ultra-, nano- and reverse osmosis filtration technology) in food, chemical, pharmaceutical and other industries, as well as during water preparation and water treatment.
EFFECT: powdered cellulose acetate is modified by its swelling in distilled water to equilibrium water saturation for 30-60 minutes with subsequent vacuum-sublimation drying of cellulose acetate powder at (-55)-(-85)°C and at pressure of 50-100 Pa to residual moisture content ≤1 wt%.
