FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to obtaining inorganic sorbents, and can be used in sorption collection of trace amounts of light and heavy metals, and hydrolysing elements from salt aqueous solutions and for cleaning radioactive contaminated sewage water with low-level of activity. The method involves treatment of clinoptilolite with a hydrochloric acid solution and then with a reaction solution of titanium trichloride in the presence of urea.
EFFECT: invention provides for obtaining a thin-layer sorbent, with high capacity and strength.
