FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sorption technology of extracting radionuclides, specifically to extraction of trace concentrations of uranium from aqueous solutions. Method is performed by sorption using thin-layer inorganic sorbent based on a metal hydroxide, deposited on natural organic substance. Solution is first mixed with chelating agent to reach water concentration of 0.15·103-0.3·103 mol/l at pH 6-8.
EFFECT: invention increases dynamic exchange capacity of sorbent with respect to extracted radionuclide and increases rate of sorption process.
