FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to concentration of minerals, particularly to facilities of wet magnetic separation mainly for production of marketable magnetite of high quality. The band magnetic separator consists of a magnetic system of constant magnets, of a transporting band stretched on driven and idle drums, of a feeder and of receivers of separated products. The magnetic system is made with alternating polarity of magnets and is equipped with a device for adjusting distance between magnets and the transporting band. The transporting band and feeder are installed with an air gap, while the separator is installed with regulated tilt angle to horizontal axis.

EFFECT: upgraded quality of concentrate.
