FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: this invention is related to method of colour marking application by laser and plastic with such marking. Method for application of durable and wear-resistant colour inscriptions or marking on plastics consists in the fact that system of layers is used comprising two layers arranged on each other and separated with supporting film. The first layer consists of plastic that comprises absorber of energy inside or in the form of layer. The second layer applied on supporting film serves as medium for marking and contains dye and polymer component. At that polymer component is welded to surface of plastic under action of laser radiation in process of inscription/marking application.
EFFECT: suggested invention provides for colour-resistant, durable and wear-resistant laser marking and inscription on plastics.
