FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flying vehicles easier than air. Airborne-cable transport system contains the flying vehicle easier than air with a passenger-and-freight compartment, engine with propellers and rudders. The proposed vehicle has the main engine with two rotating propellers, lateral engines, sailing system and parachute system. At the vehicle bottom, there are the elements of the load-carrying system representing closed surfaces, connected by cables and load-bearing segments with sling fasteners that support tanks for helium and hot air. The vehicle is furnished with systems designed to cyclically heat the heat-carrier, to supply helium and to pump out, to warm up heat carrier by exhaust gases, and those intended for developing and folding aforesaid tanks. The proposed vehicle can be incorporated with other vehicle to make an airborne train by connection with cables and load-bearing segments. Active vehicle or passive one is connected by cable and service lines with propulsion unit coupled, with the help engine, with the cable stretched from station to station. The engine of propulsion unit consists of some top and bottom spring-loaded wheels and a drive with gearbox. The engine is linked up with reduction gear that can, via the drum, vary the distance between the propulsion unit and the vehicle. The latter has an adjustable wing, screws and hooks.
