FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to technology for elimination of ice jamming in rivers, and also to facilities for creation of navigable channels. Method for elimination of ice jamming is realised by creation of high pressure area of dynamic action under ice cover. High pressure area of dynamic action is created in closed space limited by sleeves of cylindrical shape. Sleeves are inserted one into another and have possibility of displacement relative to each other in vertical direction. Damage of ice is realised by dynamic action of upper sleeve bottom at internal surface of ice cover caused by explosion of gas mixture supplied between two sleeves.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible not to distribute explosive wave at surrounding aqueous medium of basin, to repeatedly realise method for elimination of ice jamming in one and the same device, and also to considerably reduce power inputs.
