FIELD: packing.
SUBSTANCE: sealing lid for vessels consists of cylindrical lateral wall and bottom and has made integral with it protruding from its internal surface ring gasket for ensuring tight contact with vessel mouth. Internal bottom surface within the range limited in radial direction with ring gasket is covered with oxygen-absorbing compound from material which is chemically related to material of sealing lid. On bottom internal surface there are protrusions and/or grooves covered or filled with coating from oxygen-absorbing compound. Method of sealing lid manufacturing is provided.
EFFECT: novel construction of sealing lid with oxygen-absorbing properties, as well as eliminating any possibility of penetration of cleaning liquid used for sterilisation, accordingly disinfection of sealing lid.
