FIELD: package and storage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a container made of glass or solid plastic with neck (52) of a container, comprising a set of outer thread elements, which are offset in circumferential direction relative to each other thread elements (53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58) in the form of thread segments. It can be sealed through thread segments by a sealing cap made from tin, at that sealing cover (1, 2) has on its inner side and its edge zone a circumferential plastic layer (30; 30h, 30v) which acts with compaction and retention. Sealing closure during closure can be molded on container neck (52) through thread elements (53, 54, 55), and vertical section (30v) of plastic layer allows opening by rotational movement relative to elements (53, 54, 55) of thread. Container neck (52) comprises horizontal top surface (52a) arranged on top in the form of annular surface that is suitably made with possibility of pressure layer (30; 30h, 30v) plugging of plastic (1, 2) plastic layer (30h, 30v) under pressure into horizontal section and providing sealing under pressure. Axial distance (h₅₄), which is measured between upper in axial direction by ends (53a, 54a, 55a, 56a, 57a) of thread segments (53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58) and horizontal plane (E_52a) passing through horizontally oriented end surface (52a) of neck (52) of glass container (52). Width (b₅₂) of ring of horizontal end surface (52a) located from above is defined as ring surface. Relationship between axial distance (h₅₄) and width (b₅₂) of the ring is less than 1.35.

EFFECT: easy-to-use container with reduced neck height for sealing with a closing cap and a sealing method are disclosed.
