FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in recycling of cull wood. Prepared and fractionated charcoal is supplied to device 2 for loading. Natural gas and air are supplied to burner 11, being mixed and burned in combustion chamber 12. Combustion products including water vapor and CO2 are supplied to upper part of heating chamber 3 and via openings 13 supplied to reactor cavity 1. Passing through charcoal combustion products heat it and enter in reaction with it. Then water vapor and CO2 enter through openings 13 in opposite wall of reactor 1 in upper part of heating chamber 3. From source 9 of water vapor supply along manifold 10 saturated water vapor comes to lower part of chamber, via openings 13 it passes in reactor 1 and cools charcoal in its lower part prior to unloading.
EFFECT: possibility to use CO2 produced in process of gas burning during charcoal activation, simple design of device and its higher efficiency.
