FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in supply of fuel to diesel generator and conversion of fuel combustion energy to mechanical energy, and then to electric energy. Water gas is used as fuel, which is obtained from tight retorts as a result of pyrolysis of hydrocarbon raw material. Raw material is loaded to tight retorts, and then retorts are heated, and pyrolysis process is performed. Raw material is dried at the first stage in each retort at 150°…220°C till water is completely removed. Resins, acids and alcohol is separated at the second stage by heating each retort to 350°…440°C. At the third stage the retort is heated to 850°…1000°C; at that, superheated steam or air is supplied in turn to the retort. Water gas is removed from the retort, cooled to temperature of not more than 50°C, stored in gas holder, compressed, mixed with air and supplied as fuel to pre-started diesel generator warmed up to normal working temperature. Remained solid fractions of raw materials is removed from the retort and the process is repeated again.
EFFECT: non-waste production of electric energy from waste wood.
