FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for manufacturing of artistic products, such as rings, chains, earrings, bracelets for watches, clock bodies and other jewellery. Platinum alloy according to the first option contains, wt %: platinum 55 - 63, cobalt 2 - 10 and copper 27 - 43. Alloy according to the second option contains, wt %: platinum 70 - 79.5, cobalt 2 - 10 and copper 10.5 - 28. Alloys allows excellent mechanical and optical properties, particularly Vickers hardness, measured in annealed condition, 130 - 210 HV10, durability at tension 450 - 800 N/mm2, elongation at rupture at least 20 %. For hardness increasing of alloy it can additionally contains 0.001 - 2 wt % at least one metal, chosen from the group, including palladium, iridium and ruthenium, and for improvement of dispersion hardening - 0.001 - 2 wt % at least one metal, chosen from the group, including indium and gallium.
EFFECT: hardening of alloy.
