SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy field, particularly to composition of steels which can be used in automotive industry. Steel contains carbon, silicon, manganese, vanadium, copper, nitrogen, indium, strontium, zinc, boron, sodium and iron at following correlation of components, wt %: carbon 0.15-0.25, silicon 0.15-0.25, manganese 0.25-0.35, vanadium 3.0-3.6, copper 2.7-3.1, nitrogen 0.001-0.002, indium 0.15-0.25, strontium 0.001-0.002, zinc 0.001-0.002, boron 0.06-0.08, sodium 0.0001-0.0002, iron is the rest.
EFFECT: hardening of steel.
