SUBSTANCE: invention is related to sealing engineering. Sealing of horizontal shaft or axis comprises cover and sliding valve. Shaft is arranged with two end reinforced annular strips having hardness that differs from hardness of interfacing surface of sliding bearing and arranged with the possibility in process of shaft rotation to cut antifriction layer on sliding bearing and creation of pockets.
EFFECT: increased reliability and prolonged durability of bearing unit of liquid friction.
