FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thrust bearings, in particular to methods and systems for uniform distribution of axial loads at bearing surface of thrust bearings. Method involves arrangement of uniform distribution of axial loads at bearing surface during mutual sliding spherical surfaces resting bearing. Mutual sliding is provided by providing liquid friction between spherical surfaces, for creation of liquid friction in area of interacting spherical surfaces pressure is maintained lubricating fluid, value of which is greater than or equal to pressure value of axial force. Method is implemented with application of thrust bearing, in which alignment system is composed of thrust ring with spherical surface, spherical surface of thrust ring is connected to bearing layer support shoe through a pocket on rear side of support shoe and/or thrust ring bearing layer through a through-hole of thrust ring arranged in hydrodynamic zone of thrust ring.
EFFECT: technical result is improved efficiency of alignment of axial loads at bearing surface of thrust bearings.
