FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to area of measuring techniques and can be used for development of power devices exploiting magnetic viscosity of ferromagnetic. The proposed device comprises the high-frequency generator with an oscillating circuit with its induction coil being wound on one part of the ferrite ring, while its other part is placed between the poles of magnetic system with magnetic bias coils. The latter are connected current adder with its first input connected to the controlled DC power supply and its second input connected the amplitude-controlled stabilised frequency AC power supply. The Hall pickup is arranged in the gap between one of the magnetic system poles and the ferrite ring, the Hall pickup being electrically connected with AC amplifier and the first comparator, both connected in series. The high-frequency generator output is connected to the frequency detector and the second comparator, both connected in series. Note that the fist and second comparator outputs are connected to the phase detector inputs, the phase detector output being connected to the counter control input. The counter input is connected to the counting-pulse HF-generator output, while the counter output is connected to computer processor incorporating a display.
EFFECT: increase in accuracy of measurement of constant magnetic viscosity τ in ferrite rings in fields of their saturation.
